wait a minute... i'm reading eric's post again and i swear that it's different now than what it was before. am i imagining things, or did eric edit his first post instead of making another one?

no wait he definitely did. because we didn't get snow until saturday, the 30th. silly eric.

ah. in new jersey, at lisa's house for a slightly early new year's party. earlier my mom called and said, "yeah, you probably won't be able to get home until tomorrow." me thinking, gosh this is weird. me being allowed to go in the first place was weird already, considering my parents' usual reaction to suggestions of sleepovers far away. and sleepovers in general. and now an extra day. so. i thought it was new year's eve but there's one more day. heh. stuck here surrounded by a foot-plus of snow. with pat and lisa and annie. no sleep until six in the morning today, of course. and just recently got out of bed. the sun sets soon. occasional resurfacing harvard memories. heh.

oh yeah. and i'd like to welcome eric. "welcome, eric." everyone give him a hand. and such.

jen, thanx for pointing out my typo with jason's email address. and that was a very interesting entry. write more.
wow. it's the night before deadlines, and all through the house lie the bodies of people I've offed for pissing me off while I try to do college essays. shoveling snow this morning in a futile attempt to dig out of the driveway to make photocopies and trip to post office to mail things was unproductive. snow kept coming. we're surrounded. there's no way out. would make a deep, deep comment about what shoveling in the first six inches of snow means about life when you wake up in the afternoon and there's almost another foot of snow on the ground, but can't be troubled to do it now, because that would be too depressing and probably cause the remaining people alive reading this to engage in ritual suicide. no, really, I'm feeling fine. I just think death imagery is frightening and easy to use.

yay! new design to replace the blogger default. "when in doubt, slather on bright colors," that's what i say.
ok quick background instructional video etc. basically, posting it stores the entry somewhere in the vast darkness of blogger.com. then you click the publish button, and it will create an updated page with the new entries and post it to the site.
